AMAZING-6G will evaluate and validate the sustainability and performance of B5G/6G technologies in diverse ecosystems (including both “sustainable 6G” and “6G for sustainability”) via the design, execution and assessment of large-scale trials in the vertical domains of Health, Public Safety, Energy, Transport (including Rail).

Deployment of large scale B5G infrastructure for trials and pilots with verticals

AMAZING-6G will deploy large-scale B5G/6G infrastructures for trials and pilots in the domains of Healthcare, Public Safety, Energy and Transport (including Rail). As a result the project is establishing extensive B5G/6G network infrastructures and technology enablers capable of accommodating trials and pilots on a grand scale. The deployment encompasses the installation of advanced hardware components, such as edge functionality, servers, end-user devices, drones, collaborative robots etc. (depending on the use case). These large-scale trials serve as critical testing grounds for B5G applications, enabling researchers and industry stakeholders to assess performance, identify challenges, and refine the technology for optimal functionality.

The contribution to business models, telecom standards and the SNS-JU programmatic actions related to sustainability, in connection to 6G-IA (6G Infrastructure Association), underscores a collaborative effort towards advancing sustainable practices among different stakeholders. This initiative involves active participation in standardization processes and the SNS-JU program to align technological developments with sustainability goals.
